1.
Raise resources through public and other contributions for carrying on the day
to day activities of Cancer Crusaders Combine.
2. Establish Cancer Crusaders Clubs (CCC) in schools, colleges and universities all over the country. Through these clubs it is proposed to bring together cancer victims and those with a concern and commitment for prevention of dreadful disease like cancer and help around human development. CCC members to be motivated for creating awareness amongst the people to identify cancer causative factors like carcinogenic substances and as far as possible keep away from them, help check / control the use of carcinogenic substances through campaigns and public education; help motivate manufacturers and traders of carcinogenic substances to help protection / care of the environment; organize cancer detection camps and help early cancer detection for effective treatment at the appropriate treatment center nearest to one’s home; help mobilize resources to needy and poor cancer victims for treatment, help the needy terminal cancer patients to go to the nearest Palliative Care/Terminal Care Center, help give appropriate emotional support to cancer victims and their relations to fight cancer; and help promote such other activities for all round human development.
3. Set up lobbying groups at Central Legislature level down to Gram Panchayath and City / Municipal Corporation levels to bring in appropriate legislation for cancer control and see through its proper implementation.
4. Set up a Mobile Early Cancer Detection Center (MECDC) fitted with (1) a mammogram, (2) cytopathological screening facilities and (3) health education tools. Indian mother / woman is a symbol of silent suffering. Be it for food or health care, they care for everyone else in the family except of their own. They go on working for others until bedridden. Breast cancer and cancer of cervix can be easily cured, if detected early. It is quite unfortunate if any Indian woman suffers and dies of breast cancer and/or cancer of cervix. MECDC should reach every woman at their village doorsteps and not only help early cancer detection but also promote health care and all-round human development through public education. It is to be remembered here as to what Mahatma Gandhi said of woman. Anything including knowledge passed on to a woman will belong to the whole family and the society. That may not be the case with man and such knowledge will be confined to himself.
5. Set up a Cancer Information Center (CIC). CIC will collect, disseminate, publish and make available to everyone the knowledges on cancer prevention, early cancer detection and cancer treatment from all branches of medicines known to mankind including spiritual healing.
6. Publish a Journal / Health Bulletin for the benefit of health professionals and common man alike. This will be open to all branches of medicines including spiritual healing. This will help representatives of each branch of medicine understand other branches of medicines including spiritual healing. Health has to be seen as health and not as allopathic health, homeopathic health, ayurvedic health, etc. etc. Divide and rule may help develop new political sciences. As far as health is concerned, divide and rule would do irreparable damages to suffering mankind as it has already happened.
7. Set up a model Palliative / Terminal Care Center.
8. Set up a Training Center for Cancer Crusaders. Mobile Early Cancer Detection Center, Cancer Information Center and Palliative / Terminal Care Center are all to be used as educational tools for the training of Cancer Crusaders to take the challenge of creating a cancer free world. Just as no part of human body is immune to cancer, cancer prevention would mean prevention of almost all diseases and promoting health as well as protection of one’s living environment.
